City of Suzdal
Some 120 miles or 200 kilometers away from Moscow there lies a beautiful medieval Russian city of Suzdal. Once it was the capital of Suzdal principality. This city has its own Kremlin, a few churches and monasteries. In Suzdal you can visit a traditional Russian peasant's house – izba, as well you can see some traditional Russian buildings, made of wood. And at the outskirts of this small city you will observe spectacular Russian landscapes – forests, fields, a river meandering slowly through bright green meadows. Suzdal guesthouses will impress you with the taste of delicious Russian food and the truely Russian sensation in a steamhouse 'banya'.
